With the benign blessings of Sri Subramanyaswamy Devalayamu of Pydeti, “Pydeti Sri Subramanyeswara Swamy Jeernodharana Committee (PSSJC)” was formed in 2014 under Regn No.99/14.
The main temple was constructed in a small way by village Bharadwaj Vamsastha Brahmins and villagers around 500 to 600 years back. Later, the Brahmins and villagers of Pydeti and all nearby villagers joined to develop the temple with their small donations. Later, the Garbhagudi, Mandapams, Ashwatha Katta, Shiva’s Temple was formed within the available means. Subsequently, the main entrance (Raja Gopuram), Kalyana Mandapam-cum-Bhojanasala, Shiva’s idol was formed with small basic amenities. Further, developmental works are still going on. Due to paucity of funds, the developmental works as projected for the year 2026 are held up. The details of such projects are as under:
1] Ashwatha Katta : The Raavi Chetty (peepul tree) and Neem Tree has grown since generations in the Temple Complex. These trees are treated as religious and sacred trees and given a special place in the complex. Due to its roots spread widely, the Ashwatha Katta (the platform provided around the tree) has ben severely damaged. This needs to be rebuild with latest technology which may cost around Rs.5 lakhs (aprox).
2] Tiles: Fresh tiles to be fixed in front of the sanctum sanctorium with a cost around Rs.2 lakhs (aprox).
3] Navagraha Temple: A small and beautiful Navagraha Temple is to be built inside the complex with a cost of Rs.2 lakhs (aprox)
4] Brindavanam: A Tulasi Brindavanam is to be built inside the complex with an estimated cost of Rs.1 lakhs.
The total has been estimated civil works/renovations for the year 2026 are Rs.10 lakhs.
The following Temple Managing Committee has decided to complete all the above pending works as projected and seeking a liberal financial help from all our whole-hearted devotees by the year 2026.Your benign contributions to this Temple will bring a new glory.The beloved Sri Subramanya Swamy may protect all his devotees in and around India with full of happiness and health.
